Supposedly you can set phantomjs's user agent, but I couldn't get it to work via webdriver. You can do this by overriding headers, though:

it 'can be set', ->
source = @browser.getElement('body').get('text')
body = JSON.parse source
assert.equal body.headers['user-agent'], 'pickles!'Note that this will only work if you are using relative URLs.
