The outstanding requests have to be aborted to prevent issues with navigation. If they remain outstanding (as if black holed), the navigation will not return until something times out for those outstanding requests. That's why we had to add this request abortion. I think it would be fine if we moved it to the next tick, if that fixes your issue.
However, markNewPage
only happens as a result of a navigateTo
. If these redirects are happening due to JavaScript on the page, I don't think testium's proxy will abort any outstanding requests. Do you want to screenshare tomorrow so that I can see what's happening?

Interesting. I think next tick should fix it (haven't tried yet). I might have to pass it off to one of the others on my team to investigate further as I'm heading off on 6 weeks honeymoon in about 5 minutes :)
