Check the async configuration: you can inject your configuration service (where I imagine you store the current environment) and then... simply return the appropriate options based on that.

Sorry... didn't see that you are actually using the async configuration. Just return different options based on the environment, i your factory function then :)

Yes I've solved it by using ConfigModule like this:

 import { Module } from '@nestjs/common';
 import { ConfigService, ConfigModule } from '@nestjs/config';
 
 @Module({
     imports: [
         WinstonModule.forRootAsync({
             imports: [ConfigModule],
            inject: [ConfigService],
             useFactory: (configService: ConfigService) => (
                  configService.get('logger.config')
             ),
         }),
    ],
})
export class LoggerModule {}
