Same happens with me. From time to time chrome crashes. If I disable TGS, the problem goes away. Chrome updated today to new version and I reenabled TGS and the problem returned... Any news on that?

Do you have the screen capture option turned on? If so, it can be a little CPU intensive if trying to suspend many tabs at the same time. Try turning that off to see if it helps. If there is something specific that you can identify that you might be doing before your chrome crashes that could be useful for debugging. Do you have a lot of tabs open at the time? Are they all suspended or in the process of suspending?
At the end of the day, I designed it to PREVENT my chrome from crashing when I had too many tabs open - so if you're finding that enabling the extension crashes your browser then perhaps it's just not the right extension for you.

I didn't have screen capture turned on. I had lot's of tabs, but most of them were suspended. And specifically Chrome didn't crash but TGS froze. All my suspended tabs hanged and weren't able to resume anymore. I had to disable TGS and recover all suspended tabs manually..

I'm treating this as a duplicate of #30.
For all bug reports of this extension causing chrome to crash please add to this other isssue.
