not sure exactly what you mean by this?
i'm aware that on a suspended tab, you cannot view the url at the top of the page. this is an unfortunate side effect of loading html pages within an extension (which is what happens when a tab gets suspended by my extension).
but what do you mean by 'when restoring a suspended tab, the url should be refreshed'? as far as i'm aware, once you restore a suspended tab the url reappears?
keen to hear more about the issue if you have the time.

I suspect drdorne means that when restoring the tab, it does not reload the URL from the website (or does not appear to, in any event) - if the URL has updated since being suspended, those changes do not appear after restoring. I run into this too and tend to agree that reloading the URL, or perhaps just validating it hasn't changed (if the date modified information is available in e.g. HTTP headers) would be desirable, though probably it should be an option if it's done.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree that when unsuspending a tab, it should probably fetch the latest copy of the page. I have changed this in the latest version (v5.0.1) to bypass the cache when reloading the tab.

I agree that this might be a nice option for some people, but I think it might be nice to leave an option to use the cache as well. Sometimes there are pages that would require a form resubmission, login, etc. to reload and I'm always pleasantly surprised when a suspended tab pops back up without those hassles.
