AMI image not working about graylog2-images HOT 5 CLOSED

Hi,

I'm not really familiar with the AMI images, but it looks like APT has some kind of problems in that instance. Could you try to manually execute apt-get -q -y install ntp=1:4.2.6.p5+dfsg-3ubuntu2 and see if there is any error?

ok apt-get -q -y install ntp=1:4.2.6.p5+dfsg-3ubuntu2 work, but after that when I try again sudo graylog2-ctl reconfigure and now I got:

Hi Andrés,

The instance seems to be in a pretty bad shape, chef is not able to get the IP address or MAC address. Could you try again after rebooting the instance? Please also ensure there's enough disk space.

By the way, which AMI version are you using? I want to spin a new instance with it in case I can see any errors :)

Edit: I saw you already wrote you use the latest AMI, is it "graylog2-0.92.1-1418674595"? Just to be sure.

I just double checked the AMI and it was working without any problems for me. I agree that maybe there is something wrong with the network of your instance. The first and the second issue points into that direction. Could you please try to terminate the instance and recreate a new one?
