Preferred way for multiple checkboxes about schema HOT 2 CLOSED

I've come up with this solution, but not sure if it's the best approach:

type shopType struct {
    Id int
    Type string `schema:"-"`
    Selected bool `schema:"-"`
}

type shopForm struct {
    Name string
    Types []shopType
}

Then in the form:

{{ range $idx, $type := .Types }}
    <label class="checkbox-inline"><input type="checkbox" name="Types.{{ $idx }}.Id" value="{{ $type.Id }}" {{ if $type.Selected }}checked{{ end }}> {{ $type.Type }}</label>
{{ end }}

Finally in controller function:

f := new(shopForm)
err = decoder.Decode(f, req.PostForm)
err := a.srv.FillShopTypes(f)

where FillShopTypes fetches data from DB and iterates over f.Types fixing Type and Selected fields where Id matches.
