ABM Terraform scripts failing with an SSH error about anthos-samples HOT 5 CLOSED

Hmm, just tried changing into the /resources/.temp/abm-w1-001 folder, and I see the public and private keys. If I check the VM in the GCP Console, I see it has the SSH public key, and that it's associated with the tfadmin user. But, if I try to manually ssh with:

ssh -i ssh-key.priv [email protected]

I'm getting:

[email protected]: Permission denied (publickey).

Got it. Read through the other comments, and it's related to the oslogin issue. I tried again in a new project, and after I set enable-oslogin to false in the GCE metadata, the install scripts made it through machine creation. Probably should add a note on that, both here and in the main Google doc page: https://cloud.google.com/anthos/clusters/docs/bare-metal/1.8/try/gce-vms-tf

@haggman - PR #71 adds the osligin metadata to the GCE templates. I see that, it was merged after this issue has been reported. So now for anyone trying the tutorial this won't be a problem. A documentation change has been opened to add a note in the main docs page as well

The docs have been updated to include the information about os-login being disabled by default.
