Hey there! Happy to help here. Could you start by defining "don't work" and what you expected? Can you also verify that you get results when you do not specify size and that those results are correct?

I am having the same issue. By doesn't work, I believe @krokhale means that the query returns the same number of matches regardless of whether or not the size variable is included.
For instance if I have [a, b, c] and I do a search with a size of 1, all of the items are still returned.

@krokhale
So after doing a little debugging and looking at SearchQueue.js it looks like you can specify extra parameters (size, from, etc) using the options object.
So your query request would look like:
{
index: 'firebase',
type: 'names',
options: {from: 0; size: 5},
query: {query_string: {query: '*fa*'
}
Some extra docs on this would be nice
