I am not for this at all. We should make sure we have all the correct meta data and maybe some icons at the bottom of the screen but I don't want to see any widgets at all. :)

Agreed. We can use the share links to avoid having extra JS on the page if we want on page social options: e.g. for G+ https://developers.google.com/+/web/share/#sharelink

Right now I am going to close this. I like our site being socially nude. and it doesn't seem to be hurting us. I am going to open up an issue to make sure we have all the correct meta-tags set up to make it so that we can look good on twitter.
