This issue is related with input method framework (e.g. Fcitx).

Could you please confirm the following items? It's important for this issue.

• Whether this issue happens on both Ibus and other IMF (e.g. Fcitx, uim).
• Whether this issue happens on other IMEs (e.g. Anthy, SKK).

Hi! I've just checked.

It does seem to happen under Anthy, which would suggest this being a Fcitx issue as you mentioned.

Mozc (or more likely, ibus) does not seem to work at all under Wine.

It is a Fcitx issue, being fixed in next release as per the issue linked above. Closing as the ibus issue is likely user error, and ultimately unlikely to be anything to do with Mozc.
