It looks like you should be able to do that from AllocationRecorder.addSampler
.
You'd have to be very careful, though, because constructing the Throwable
is itself an allocation, so you have to figure out how not to recurse, as discussed in Sampler
's Javadoc.

I think that comment (from 2008) may have been superseded by a change (from 2009), which uses a ThreadLocal to determine if an allocation is in progress:
