I experienced the same issue yesterday. Turning off the image understanding feature did the trick to fix it, although ideally, I would have preferred to keep it on, of course.

Good catch, thanks. I disabled the image understanding option and it works now.
Perhaps that will work in a future release.

Thanks for reporting. Could you please add the full error message from the Apps Script Logs? (via the Sheets Menu navigate to Extensions > Apps Script then click on the "Executions" item in the left navigation. You should see "Failed" entries corresponding to the rows that failed).
I am unable to reproduce this using the latest template from GitHub (v20240417) and the model gemini-1.0-pro-vision. Is that the same setup you have or are you perhaps using an older spreadsheet version?
