I'd suggest starting learning about Continuous Delivery the concept before trying to pick up any tool (even Go).

You might start with the CD book (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0321601912?tag=contindelive-20) and the website by from the same folks (http://continuousdelivery.com/). There are lots of resources on the web as well of course.

If you have Go specific questions, a better place to ask would be the mailing list at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/go-cd.
