In fact, GraphViz.escape is used to escape all labels and names. But maybe this is the wrong way... I asked Miguel to know what was wrong with the dot caracter in the node name to be sure to do the best correction.

Ok, I have just commit a correction. The test (http://github.com/glejeune/Ruby-
Graphviz/blob/master/examples/sample29.rb) seems to be OK. So if it is
good for you, I can publish the new version (0.9.8).

Yep, that seems to be working better now.
I have tried it on my grap data and it creates SVG files with clickable nodes now.
