Pretty much all the pages in the tutorial don't work. You can see the resolved link in the bottom of this screenshot:
While I totally get your comment on the previous issue that teaching about http is not really in scope, I'd much rather break that scope than have to deal with pissed off co-workers when their links don't work. I think that will cause them to be less trusting of markdown.
Happy to fork and host my own internally, so if it's not a bug don't worry about it. :)

The funny thing is, if you actually do the tutorial and enter the right text ([Search for it.](www.google.com)
) the link does work. It's just arbitrary links that don't. That's very annoying. I'll fix it soon.

To be clear, this was a reference to when their links don't work in real usage, once they've left the tutorial.
Thanks for pointing out that they do work when typing the right text. I think I was missing the . the first time I tested and then didn't bother following the guide when taking the screenshot.
