Kindle notes extraction truncated about roam-highlighter HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi Paul! Thanks for reaching out.

1. are the long highlights/notes showing fully on the kindle reading website where I extract the notes from? Can you send me an example screenshot of one of these long highlights/notes that is being cut off?

2. can you send me screenshot of what it looks like with my highlighter once it’s pasted into Roam? So I can see what is cutoff.

3. do you have an idea of the “size” limit that seems to be getting cutoff? I don’t have very long highlights/notes from kindle so haven’t seen this issue and would need to try and re-create by adding some large highlights / notes but need an idea of how large I need to make my test cases. Preferably in character count would be a good size estimate for me.

Going through your questions and digging in some i realized that i was highlighting in MacOS app and clipping from the A Cloud Reader. the Cloud Reader cuts off the full highlights from the MacOS app. An Amazon issue really. Any workaround thoughts would be great. Here is a zip with images and export from MacOS Kindle app if you want to research more.
