The current buttons are not ideal but are what you are stuck with if using Qt Forms in Qt creator as the GUI builder. The instructions/title for the color map display dialog could be updated to say something like enter directory for color map. The "choose button" could be relabeled to something like "select color map directory". Tool tips could be added to explain things.
