Are you using git from the command line when committing or via a git client like SourceTree? Could it be related to this issue #54?
You can also try gtm status
from the command line to determine if it is recording time. Another thing to check is within the root of the git repo there should be a directory named .gtm
. Within there you should see *.event files.
