"Suspicious sign in prevented" about google-drive-ruby HOT 4 CLOSED

I haven't encountered the issue, so I'm not really sure. Some ideas to try:

• If you use user name / password login, try using OAuth instead: http://gimite.net/doc/google-drive-ruby/GoogleDrive.html#method-c-login_with_oauth
• Try to log in with different Google account
• Try to connect from different IP address

@tenaciousflea did you solve this? If so, would you mind sharing your solution? @gimite the OAuth approach would appear to require the end user to authenticate and post/get to/from his/her own google account, and not a single account defined by the application. Is that the intended flow? Thanks.

I just stopped using background jobs. When the request comes from the same
IP address, google lets it through. It's not that much of a overhead if you
have low traffic on the site.
