When trying to login on Vaultwarden over TOR the app prompts an error message "This browser requires HTTPS to use the web vault".
Unfortunately Tor is the required protocol. I sad.

Exactly and when trying to open the app over TOR, the app prompts the error message that you need to use HTTPS. This is ofcourse impossible hence why the app is unusable...

Tailscale should allow access over HTTPS, but is not configured to allow it. If Tailscale could be enabled with HTTPS then many apps would become functional: not only Vaultwarden, but Specter Desktop / LNBits and any app that requires camera access over the network.
Feels like it should be a priority considering how much functionality this would enable?

Thanks all for your input on this. Agreed that accessing the Vaultwarden UI via Tor is not ideal. We are stuck with this option right now, but we do plan to make this easier in the future as we update our OS.
For now, I have added instructions to the app description to help people set up Vaultwarden: 426e11d
