Tagged a new version 0.11.2 which should hopefully resolve this issue. The problem is caused with the nested set package, we are going to removing this package in a future release.

Have you found the solution? I also facing this same error for some reason.
Are you not using the GetCandy::router in your RouteServiceProvider? In my case, I'm not using the GetCandy Router since I want to tweak the input/output in my backend API.
If I use the "proper way" (like using their router and also open the endpoint via Admin Hub), the endpoint doesn't show any error.
