• was this a first time installation? Like first time you installed the plugin in VSCode and first time you tried to use it?
• if not, was this the first time you tried to use it on Julia 1.9?

Yes, first time installation.

I did try uninstalling then reinstalling the VS Code extension as well.

@ConnectedSystems can you please remove the ~/.julia/geniebuilder directory and reinstall the insider version and see if that works for you?

It's usually here C:\Users\aryan\.julia

steps:

1. remove ~/.julia/geniebuilder directory
2. remove the plugin from vscode

and reinstall insider and start server

@ConnectedSystems just installed on windows. No issues with insiders. Will check for stable as well
