Do we really care? those won't disappear before GLib 3.0 (if it ever happens), and require relatively new GLib. And having them conditional just seem to add artificial complexity.

I'm fine leaving them if they will not break anything and/or are just quiet complicated to fix. Created the issue to keep track on it so we can have a chat.

We could define G_DISABLE_DEPRECATED_WARNINGS or whichever by default in the build systems. With the rate the G* people are deprecating stuff, it's impossible to keep up (IIRC Geany has tons of these warnings in GTK3 build).

Didn't thought about Gtk3 at the moment. But with Gtk2 and having the latest version my idea was to clean up if possible.
