I got the same issue on Mac, and I try to move it in the application support file but it won't work.

I can install all the addons but when I refresh it doesn't download/save.

Same issue here on a Macbook Pro. Whenever I click download on an addon, I get the message "Succesfully downloaded [addon]" but when I go to my settings it says no addons installed and the addons page still says it isn't downloaded. The rest of the client is working great.

For anyone seeing this: This is fixed in the new version of the client. Join the discord for bug reports and suggestions
