Could you be more specific what seems to be the problem

As for: Multiple directives [foo, dateTime] asking for isolated scope on
This is a known limitation of angular itself. Your directive can user $parse and $observe instead of scope:{}

No that's not a case. foo is a reusable component. In its template there is a input field with date-time directive. Think of it as one directive nested inside of another (inside of my own reusable component/widget). When I isolate scope of my directive, dateTime picker is not triggering.

You should upgrade to 1.2 since 1.1.X releases were never production ready.
