But my fontification is designed for csharp
is there any specific extension for vbscript asp files ?

Unfortunately it seems like all the vbscript modes have expired, and none were asp specific, though html-helper mode used to support a vb mode as an add-on.
What would have to change to support vbscript?

Yes, big improvement, though still fontifying apostrophe comments incorrectly.
