You can do this by calling the method scrollTo.

E.g.

var scroller = new FTScroller(document.getElementById('scrollable'), {
                    scrollingY: false,
            snapping: true,
            scrollbars: false,
            paginatedSnap: false,
            updateOnChanges: false
        });

Then you can attach an event listener to your "button" and just call the scrollTo method of the FTScroller class

scroller.scrollTo(600, 0, 100 /* duration in ms */);

from ftscroller.
