The "invaild IP-adress" means that your Ip changed.
To me this happens every 2-3am because of my host, since I have a dynamic IP. This is what providers do to prevent people from running their own DC in their basement...they'll charge you extra if you want to. o.o
I dont know what 503/8 does do, but i belive that has to do with the server connection. some of my clients get this when the database doesnt respond for a moment

I agree that the IP must have changed but don't you think it's rare for a DHCP server to change an ip address twice in about 15 minutes?

I have been seeing quite a bit of the "green" light turning yellow or red... with some serious lag on the red. I had heard reports of the 503 and 508 from my visitors, but last night I got a 500 myself. The google group has one fellow that temporarily changed his chat to ChatWIP which solve the problem. And after a call to his host, they changed something and it solved the problem permanently. He couldn't tell me exactly what to ask for though. :-}
