requires_channel is not a routing setting. The PHP implementation does not take it into account either as it does not know about it at all.
what happens with requires_channel is that the Security layer redirects you to https if you access it from http.

Yes, I understand; still there is such difference between environments. I can't understand why dev generates relative paths and prod absolute http urls without schemes: [https]

@nicolopignatelli clear your cache in prod. It is not refreshed automatically when you change your routing file (while it is in dev)
