I just realized that when I write all expressions of the form
wl := 32*(ql*uul-vvl)^3 / ql*ss2l*ssl^8
as
wl := 32*(ql*uul-vvl)^3 / (ql*ss2l*ssl^8)
then the compilation speed is not slowed down.
Also the form
wl := 32*ss2l*ssl^8*(ql*uul-vvl)^3 / ql
does not make the compilation slower.
Maybe that helps to figure out the problem for this case.
