Yeah, we could; this type of mining is wasteful and bad for the environment overall either way. Would make the game less creepy I guess. Also got rid of Google Analytics code recently, which bothered some people as well.

It's a service from the MintMe guys to mine it via websites, where we have our XatteR token so far.
Idea was to test out mining while people place on desktops, since the game is lightweight and free.
Imagine seeing any movie possible and not paying anything for it, just a bit at your power bill basically.
Plan was to have some notification/UI/settings for that and also reward players with some of our XatteR.

Anyway, the owner of CoinImp said there's no more development focus on that service because most antivirus software tends to block the miner, meh. I think there's a way to bypass that by hosting the miner ourselves on some server, but haven't bothered with it, as I find the documentation a bit confusing. There are options to block the website until AV allows miner, but there's no way I'm going that route. Will consider if to tweak miner soon or just get rid of it completely soon.
