Find a FI which is willing to provide "White-labeled" Banking services? about bank HOT 4 CLOSED

It's certainly an interesting idea but I'm not sure how possible it would be in the UK.

Both Simple and Moven (among others) appear to operate in this way in the States (using Bancorp and CBW respectively as far as I can tell) but I don't think we have anything similar over here.

I know that M&S Bank is operated as some kind of partnership with HSBC but I'm not really aware of any other similar partnerships.

Thanks for looking into this. I was not able to find anything either. I suppose the UK is a bit too small to support this kind of vendor.

The other option you could consider is the M&S route. That is, find a licensed FI willing to expose an API and back office services in exchange for a partnership or JV.

Incidentally, I believe the e-money option would require a similar kind of partnership. Most companies end up partnering a vendor (except it's an e-payments company). Services like Osper and Kalixa Pay are tightly coupled with a vendor whether it's by some partnership agreement or by a JV company.
