How do i recover files from container that got marked 0KB by chkdsk? about truecrypt HOT 1 CLOSED

The container File is obviously corrupt. It is probably too late for much help, but in case someone ellse comes to such a point. The Container shows 0 bytes, therefore the filesystem is not protecting the content of the file anymore, and can be overwritten by anyone. Put the Drive immeditaly in a read only mode. If it is the system disk, do not even bother to shutdown, because this will write files. Remove the plug and do not boot from that drive anymore.

The container is a file like any other file. There is nothing TC can do if the File is truncated to 0 bytes. You have to try to get the file back or the data is lost.

Ideally you have a backup of this container. If you have, restore it from the backup.

You probably have not. You can try to restore the file with any number of tools which try to restore accidently deleted file. google for "rescue deleted files" or something similar. TC cannot do anything for you, I am afraid.
