Idea: Consider option to merge albums about coverart-browser HOT 3 CLOSED

Seems like a great feature to add, I have that problem too (althought I'm working on it using beets).

Another option to implement the merging could be to add multi selection to the cover view (that would imply extra work, since the info showed on te status bar would vary on that case) and add a 'merge albums' option when more than one album is selected.
Hell, we could implement both ways to make it even more flexible xD

Note: I like the idea of multi selection, I will open issue for that too xD

I think this one is kinda implemented already with the song properties window while selecting multiple albums; you just have to write the new album name (or reuse one).
We can keep it simple and leve it at that, what do you think?
