I absolutely agree. However, it entirely solves the issue of:

For what it's worth, I think badges.io styling actually is much better than this for informational purposes (it's small, to the point, etc). However, for nearly any other purposes, the FTB styling is nicer; for example, I use in front of my notice that I'm too lazy to check my code.
