How long does it take to upload 16mb files with these options:

chunkSize: 1024*1024*1024,
progressCallbacksInterval: 1000,
simultaneousUploads: 1,
testChunks: false

What browser are you using?

target: '/',

What is a full target? Is it localhost? Are files uploaded faster on localhost?

Could you take a screenshot of your network? (through developer tools)

Maybe these questions will help us to find a problem, it might be hidden in server config also.

With those settings its faster, but doesn't it take away some of the advantages of chunking and the flow.js v normal uploading?

Yes the target is a dynamically set one (which isn't the issue as its still set up for get and post requests on the target) so its set up like:
fileUpload/{{module.id}}/{{lecture.id}}

So that I can then once completed move the file to the correct directory for administration purposes.

Thanks for your help,
