message.date not valid json about mailin HOT 4 CLOSED

Well spotted. Do you see this in the data received by a webhook or when listening to the 'message' event of mailin?

Well the message data coming along with the 'message' event is a javascript object, not a json so it makes sense to let it like this. As you can notice, the keys (to, date, dkim etc.) are not strings as well.
That said, if at some point you really need a valid json, you can do:

mailin.on('message', function (message) {
    /* Convert the message object to valid json. */
    var jsonMessage = JSON.stringify(message);

    /* Now do something with the json... */
});

@Flolagale Thanks, I'll check this today, but I'm pretty sure you are right. I copied & pasted a message to use for testing and of course it needed to be json. Thanks for your quick response.
