This looks very easy - 2to3 has no problem doing it successfully and it continues to work fine on Python 2.7.

Ideally this would be 2 and 3 compatible, like our other python scripts, which it currently isn't. At the very least there's a keyword print call.

I agree with @faho. At this juncture all our python scripts should be compatible with py2.7 and py3. The print statement should be handled by from __future__ import print_function and converted to the print() form. Last time I looked at our scripts I didn't see anything that could not be made to work with either python version with a modest amount of work.
