You are correct with that commit fixing the said problem.

With regard to pushing out stable releases, it's very hard for me to determine when something is suitably stable and often rely on regular users feedback. I suppose, now that the user base has grown considerably when I first started, that I could move to a time based criteria for moving to stable.

I'll have a think about it and will tag the current head as stable 1.9 in the next few days.

I understand that it can be tricky to suss out the right time for a release. I've gotten into the habit of filing bugs when I get bitten by a fixed issue so that maintainers can factor the "cost" of old/fixed bugs into their release calculus in a semi-informed way.

I'll look forward to 1.9 when you think it's ready. In the meantime, happy holidays and thanks for your work on BY2.
