I have another github account at github.com/paulpreibisch I am a software engineer with 10 years of experience producing production-level code for educational software startups. My platform of choice is Laravel. I am currently employed as a Backend Programmer at Vistas Projects Limited, and work on their third-party procurement software called "CurrentSCM". I take part daily in Team SCRUMS via Microsoft Teams, part-take in code reviews, and development discussions. Current SCM is an enterprise application built on top of the popular PHP Framework: Laravel.
I have become proficient in providing Vista Projects with:
- Maintaining their Workflow Engine, which governs when Bids/Offers/Orders etc. change state.
- Created PDF authoring microservice to merge multiple user-provided documents into a single document with dynamic document indexes
- Creating validations pipelines to implement Team/Project business rules
- Generate Excel import/export templates using Laravel Excel to provide customers an easy way to map data into CurrentSCM
- Optimized Test Driven Design using in-memory objects to save database cycles
- Produce clean code utilizing Data Transfer Objects, and Enums to optimize future refactors
