There might be a timing issue, I notice on an iPad 2 and retina iPad if I touch and leave my finger down for a bit before starting to scroll around the scrolling works and the PickerList doesn't actually close on me. If i do the quick flick with the finger and release to try and push things around in spurts, that is usually when it auto-closes

Fixed. It was a touch.id issue. Android and Windows would report touch ID 0 for the first touch so I assumed that would work everywhere. iOS seems to pick a non-zero number (I didn't check to see what it actually is). I made this fix in other components a while back, but I guess I forgot the PickerList.
