Sorry for taking so long to respond to this @djanowski, I didn't get my head around it initially and I've only just come back to consider this.
I think that even though this might be a common use case, I'm not sure it'd be worth making Bean bigger to fit it in. In reality all you need to do is do an event.stop() at the top of your callback and you've achieved the same effect:

bean.add(el, 'click', function (event) {
  event.stop()
  alert('oooooooh yeaaaa')
})

I also think the intent of this code is a bit more clear than using something like bean.replace(), don't you think?
