For my simple use case (read only state of the cookie), I just extracted the logic, heh. Just opened the issue for others, but can be closed if y'all don't want the repo cluttered up w/ feature requests. The better fix for me would be having websocket handler serve a fastify request (meaning run the hooks and decorators on the same request you do for routes), but I understand that's a larger operation and the proper utils would have to be exposed in the primary fastify project.
