Agreed: this is a relatively new feature (added in 2.3.0), and should be documented. I'll update old Wiki; contributions (pull requests) for github pages would be welcome too.

But I can try adding a note or two on README here as well.

Ok; updated README as well -- you may be interested in learning about couple more applicable annotations; especially @JacksonFeatures.

Thank you very much for the fast reply! Indeed, applying @JacksonFeatures to resource methods sounds very useful and I already have a use-case where I can apply it.

If I find the time, I might try to contribute to the Github Wiki here. What is your general plan, by the way: Copy/move all pages from the old wiki or do you want to restructure the pages somehow?

Contributions would be great. And we should also be able to give more access for wiki editing.

The intention is to move away from FasterXML wiki, but not using automated conversion (we had some discussions on maybe doing that, but I think this tends to cause "documentation rot", old stuff being moved without clean up). But while everyone wants to move docs, improve things, it's easier said than done (developers, including myself, are lazy with documentation, unfortunately). So there's more wishful thinking than action...

This is something that would be good to discuss on Jackson dev google group. While it may just lead to more talk (and no actual documentation), there is a chance that other developers could join. And/or Jackson team members get enough of itch to contribute more to documentation. :)
