Request ability to change profile pic. about jellyseerr HOT 3 CLOSED

I had a user who didn't have one in Jellyfin, then went in and added one, but it never showed up in Jellyseerr.

So I tested it out myself and changed mine and it also didn't update in JS. That was a couple of days ago.

I'm thinking Jellyseerr might pull it in on the initial profile sync, but never again.

Or am I wrong?

Yes that's wrong. That's not how it works. We don't pull or sync any profile pictures.

It displays the avatar directly. You need to log out and log back in to update the link to the profile pictures that are added in jellyfin.

Also make sure that the externalHostname is set correctly to your fqdn on settings > jellyseerr. That will be used for your profile picture.
