correlation_bar_plot_conf_int_stata icon correlation_bar_plot_conf_int_stata

Created a version of the Correlation Matrix in a Diverging Bar Plot form using Stata. This version includes an addition of confidence interval (error bars) with the coefficient.

correlogram_stata icon correlogram_stata

Using the built in Stata dataset (sysuse auto), I generate a weighted visualization of correlation (correlogram) that makes use of color friendly tones with a diverging color palette from blue to brown.

excel-date-time-conversion icon excel-date-time-conversion

Imagine an Excel file that contains multiple sheets but the date column in each field is not assigned the date format. When such a variable is imported within Stata, it is shown as a number with decimals. When we assign a date format in Stata on such a number, it ends up either not converting or displays an incorrect date/time.

Generating a GDP per capita plot for 4 Asian countries and magnifying the tail end of the plot using Stata

pick_last_words_stata icon pick_last_words_stata

The code allows us to pick a certain number of words from a sentence in Stata. The example code is designed to specifically pick the last 5 words however, this example code can be modified to pick words from any part of the sentence.

scatterplot-with-circled-points-using-convex-hull icon scatterplot-with-circled-points-using-convex-hull

Using Asjad Naqvi's Delaunay Package, I generate a scatterplot that encircles all the points on a scatterplot by group. The example makes use of default dataset and creates a rubber band like plot around group points in Stata. The method is not clean and neat but does the trick for now.

stata-date-time-tutorial icon stata-date-time-tutorial

A Stata dofile that contains tutorial on how to work with date and time. Useful for those who work a lot with date time or those who are just starting out.
