Adding the line slideAnimation.speed = -1; when the slide animation is added seems to have done the trick for me.

Doesn't work for me. Any other option?

Could you explain what doesn't work? A sample project would be great to be able to reproduce.

Changing shimmering direction with slideAnimation.speed = -1; didn't work for me. It starts moving faster from left to right.

Btw, the pod in Cocoapods doesn't include the setting for changing directions that seems to be present here in version 1.0.1, but it's not there in a pod.

Is there anyway to define a direction other than the four directions which exist already:
FBShimmerDirectionRight, // Shimmer animation goes from left to right
FBShimmerDirectionLeft, // Shimmer animation goes from right to left
FBShimmerDirectionUp, // Shimmer animation goes from below to above
FBShimmerDirectionDown, // Shimmer animation goes from above to below
For example, shimmering from LeftUp to RightDown?
Thanks for any response.
