a custom DSL for the database schema
https://www.prisma.io/docs/concepts/overview/what-is-prisma might be a good DSL to share. I would prefer a TOML one, but prisma has usable Rust code so that would reduce the effort to build a migration generator.

Hey! Thanks for the feature requests. Schema diffing is a nice feature which I think could be useful but my current thought is that it should probably be built as a separate tool that can then generate Reshape migration definitions!
One of the things I want to add to Reshape is a way to export the full schema in some format based on the migration files. That could then be used to create all sorts of things, like auto-generating Prisma model definitions or the tool you're suggesting here. I'll close this for now as I don't think it should be a core part of the Reshape, but if you want to build something like this, let me know! I can help with the Reshape side of things :)
