Error: Cannot find native module 'ExpoAsset' about expo HOT 7 OPEN

Maybe this will help others but I had to create a new development/simulator build to solve this issue.

I'm getting the very same error after upgrading from 49 to 51.

I got the same error after upgrading from 50 to 51. It works if I downgrade to 50

I also had to create a new dev/sim build. But it seems to have only worked after adding

to my app-config's plugin array. (Only adding the "expo-asset" string didn't seem to work, though)

None of the solutions above work for me. I have tried everything. I have to upgrade my app and I require this version to run.

I installed the expo-assets,added it to the plugins app.json the rebuilt the developer build and the error went away for me
